Built to find clarity before disruption.
Lean AI Consultants exists to help organizations understand costly process, equipment, system, workflow and data problems before they commit more people, downtime and money to solving them.
Why LAC exists
The answer may already be present—but scattered, overlooked or trapped inside disconnected evidence.
Lean AI Consultants was founded on the belief that organizations should not have to begin every investigation with a major event, a new project team or more operational disruption.
Signals within data, processes, systems, equipment performance and daily work can reveal why problems occur, where opportunities exist and what action should come next.
Our mission is to uncover those signals, turn uncertainty into understanding and help leaders make better decisions with greater confidence.
LAC supports the people who already own the process or equipment. We provide focused analytical capacity when internal experts are busy operating the business, too close to the issue or unable to stop long enough to conduct a full investigation.
What guides our work
Clear evidence. Honest limitations. Practical next actions.
Our role is not to make a report sound impressive. It is to make the problem easier to understand and the next decision easier to defend.
Start with the problem
Clients do not need to know which consulting category applies. They describe the problem; LAC determines which analytical lenses are useful.
Use existing evidence first
We begin with the reports, recordings, logs, files, diagrams and operational knowledge already available before recommending a larger effort.
Separate fact from assumption
Findings distinguish observed facts, evidence gaps, possible causes, probable causes, limitations and recommended verification steps.
Support—not replace—the team
Our analysis is designed to strengthen the work of operations, Lean, quality, engineering, maintenance, reliability and leadership teams.
Apply AI with control
AI is used where it can reduce repetitive effort, expose patterns and improve decisions while keeping people responsible for judgment and action.
Recommend the next best move
Not every problem needs a Kaizen event. Some do. The first objective is to help determine what level of action the evidence actually supports.

Founder
Experience where operations, technical systems and disciplined problem-solving meet.
Barry Harris Sr. brings experience from military aviation, manufacturing, supplier quality, program and project management, process improvement and technical problem-solving.
His background as a retired U.S. Navy Chief and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt shaped LAC's practical approach: understand the mission, examine the evidence, identify risk, communicate clearly and recommend actions that can be implemented in the real operating environment.
LAC was built to combine that operational discipline with modern AI-assisted analysis—giving organizations access to focused analytical support without automatically creating another large project.
How we engage
A focused path from uncertainty to a defensible next step.
The depth of every analysis depends on the scope, evidence quality and available data. The process remains straightforward.
Describe the issue
Explain what is happening, its impact and what has already been attempted.
Provide evidence
Share the relevant reports, logs, recordings, diagrams, spreadsheets or process information.
Receive analysis
LAC identifies facts, gaps, events, likely causes, limitations and recommended actions.
Choose the next move
Use the findings to determine whether corrective action, verification or a larger improvement effort is justified.
Have a problem that is costing time, money or operational confidence?
Submit the situation and available evidence. Your first analysis is free, allowing you to determine whether LAC can provide useful clarity before authorizing a larger effort.
